We are R.S.P.C.A. inspected. Your cat will be individually attended to, including a combing every day (if she likes that) plus the obvious litter tray duties. We all love cats here so we chat to them as we go by, and most cats chat back! It is a FLEA FREE cattery, which takes a huge amount of work, but the cats appreciate it! Your cat will get WHATEVER SHE WANTS TO EAT, although the basic diet is a mix of the premium dried foods and raw meat, which is very acceptable to most cats. She will be fed 2 or 3 times a day as well (everyone looks forward to the meals when on holiday!). We insist on all cats being vaccinated if boarding, and we have had our cleaning methods checked by the University Professor of Virology to minimise flu virus spread, but total prevention is probably beyond human means (cats are actually meant to live a mile apart in the desert and any closer housing than that creates problems!). She will also get a regular comb through during her stay so she goes home glossy and clean coated.
The best recommendation--our 'regulars' who include Jack, Minerva, Syd & Belle, Kingston and Prudence . We look after them regularly and they greet us like the friends they are.
Always look at where your feline companion will stay prior to your departure--you have to be happy that your cat will thrive while you are away. You are welcome to drop by the Cat's Pyjama's any time. And of course your feline friend will miss you, but they are the ultimate believers in 'making the most of wherever you are'!. All kinds of furry felines are catered for. Your cat will be kept separate, and cannot even see other cats so their stress is reduced. Cats from the same household can stay comfortably together in the Supercat cabins upstairs. Your feline friend will be fed 3 times a day on a premium range of cat food - and most of our holidaying cats have to watch their waistlines too! If you cat has special needs for food, we will gladly feed them whatever you bring - including the barramundi! All kinds of cats CATered for, and the very socially bonded cats who love people do very well here - there is lots of activity to watch and people to talk to. Cats who don't like other cats can be isolated, and those cats who only like their own company - well we can arrange their comfort too!
We're Good with Pills and Potions!
We specialise in looking after elderly cats, often with multiple medications. Diabetics are frequent visitors, and with a vet on the premises daily, problems can be addressed quickly, so you have peace of mind and can really relax on your holiday! Kittens and young cats can be catered for - we house and place lots of kitty refugees from our Cat Adoption Centre, so we know what a baby needs!
The Cat's pyjamas resort is flea free - so your cat will not bring home any of those pesky parasites. We can do routine maintenance like worming and clip nails, as well as more complex grooming or other requirements. With a vet on the premises, we can update vaccines and do dental and other surgery as well. Christmas and Easter Holidays fill up quickly.
